A ROCKWELL HARBOUR TOWN SUMMER – 2010

Do you want to know the best way to spend a delightful, family-oriented Fourth of July? Take a stroll down the 18th fairway of the renowned Heritage Golf Links and be dazzled.

4th of July – Harbour Town, Hilton Head, SC

This is when families of all ages take over and Norman Rockwell could not paint a more apple pie America than the one I saw just down the golf cart path from Harbour Town on July 4th. How relaxing it was to stroll the fairway of the 18th toward the famous lighthouse, roll out a beach towel, open up a chair, and gaze at the hundreds of vacationing families and residents watching the 2010 fireworks display over Daufuskie Island. Joined by dozens of leisure craft in Calibogue Sound, it was truly a pleasure to witness the starry celebration in the night sky.

What a splendid fireworks showing and kudos to Sea Pines for organizing such an amazing event to commemorate our nation’s birthday. On behalf of all of us at The Vacation Company, have a great summer America!
