Johnny & Carmen DeCecco enjoy the Hilton Head shoreline with Sammy the Beach Beagle

Since 2011, I’ve been writing here as HiltonHeadBlogAngel motivated variously by my own inspirations, as well as by occasional business clients, artists, and non-profit organizations, in need of a creative boost to their products in the form of reviews or events coverage.

Hilton Head Blog Angel writes about all things Hilton Head.  Having grown up on the island, Carmen DeCecco has enjoyed the resort community’s offerings as a resident, a visitor, and as a business owner.  After attending Brown University and majoring in English with a focus on creative writing and filmmaking, Carmen went on to a career in communications, public relations, marketing, and promoting such clients as The Newport International Film Festival, Two Sisters’ Productions, and Gemcraft, as well as participating in New England political campaigns.
Recently, Carmen and husband, John DeCecco, retired to Hilton Head Island where they enjoy everything the island has to offer.  We hope you will enjoy their experiences in these pages, as well as find some interesting and fun activities you can do with your family while visiting Hilton Head Island.

Their company, Onyx Industries, LLC is an online marketing firm, specializing in Hilton Head vacation rentals, Hilton Head travel news, restaurants, island activities, events, non-profit organizations, and arts and cultural festivals. John DeCecco is the president of the Italian American Club, Hilton Head Chapter and is a tireless promoter of small businesses and community events such as the Italian Heritage Festival held every September in Shelter Cove Marina.
